Partrac welcomes new Geoscientist / Project Manager, James Wiltshire
James is an experienced marine geologist with a comprehensive understanding of shelf/slope sediment dynamics. He has extensive overseas academic research experience in the marine and Quaternary geological fields along with cruise experience with organisations such as the Woods Hole Institute, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Texas A&M University, and the Alfred Wegner Institute. In recent years working with UTEC, Coastline Surveys and Fugro on both a staff and freelance basis around the globe, James has developed a strong practical knowledge of seabed sampling and survey techniques whilst overseeing onboard geological operations. He has undertaken interpretation and evaluation of geophysical/geotechnical data sets in support of route engineering operations and installation positioning, cable and pipeline burial assessment and technical reporting. James now brings this experience and knowledge to Partrac, primarily within the marine geosciences group. He will also be applying his skills across both the metocean and environment divisions. He’s going to be busy!
